– North End Townhouse –
[Boston]
When our clients found a narrow lot in Boston’s picturesque North End, they requested a new townhouse that would blend easily into the neighborhood. After gaining approval from the historic preservation commission, we worked with the architect to design a natural and intuitive layout with an array of modern features including a wine cellar and a workout room with a juice bar and an outdoor terrace. Taking cues from the colors and textures of the North End, we combined elements of classic industrial warehouse style with a modern New England aesthetic. We love the way the exterior brick facade carries through to the interiors where steel-framed windows, aged hardwood plank floors, a paneled steel wall, sleek rift oak custom cabinetry, a pewter-topped center island, an antique nickel fireplace and other luxurious details create a stunning backdrop for breathtaking views of Boston Harbor.
