[Edina]
The homeowner grew up in a home designed by Bruce Kading, so when he and his wife found a Shingle-style home in Edina, he asked Bruce to update the interiors with the same sense of beauty and careful attention to detail. Bruce selected a fresh yet timeless palette of blue-gray, pale pink and ivory and added layers of luxe fabrics, burnished metals and other textures to create an organic, collected look. To add more functionality to the kitchen, Bruce added a spacious pantry and a home office. Finished with custom cabinetry and elegant grass cloth wallcovering, the office garners many compliments from colleagues on Zoom calls. The homeowners love to play golf with their three young children and friends, so Bruce renovated the lower level to create a sporting club with a golf simulator and a bistro with marble-topped tables, wicker chairs and a leather sofa for watching the fun.
