[ a family compound ]

Our clients wanted to create a retreat for enjoying the outdoors with their children and grandchildren. Working closely with Paul Bertelli and Jonathan Foote of JLF Architects in Bozeman, Montana, we designed a legacy compound  with a main house, a bunk room and a barn. Nestled in the valley and finished with reclaimed wood and copper windows, this rustic home looks as though it's always been a part of the landscape. Inside, hammered steel counters, antique rugs and original western art provide a richly texture backdrop for family reunions and other get-togethers.
